Meet the Instructors

Michael Eaton

Michael is currently a firefighter/paramedic in Massachusetts.  During his 20 year career, he has worked for various fire and EMS services within the commonwealth performing various duties.  These duties include: Field Training Officer, Emergency Operations Center Manager, CPR Instructor, CERT Liaison, and Explorer Post Director.  

Michael has earned a Masters of Public Administration from Anna Maria College, a Bachelors degree in EMS Management from Springfield College, and an Associates Degree from the Community College of the Air Force. 

In addition to the Fire Service, Michael is also currently serving in the Air Force Reserves.  Over the course of 13 years, Michael has achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant,  served 1 tour in Iraq, and is the Superintendent of the Emergency Management flight at Westover Air Reserve Base.

Nicole Falcon

Nicole attended Northeastern University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and her Master of Arts in Teaching. Nicole was a second grade teacher for the City of Boston for several years. 

While being a stay-at-home mom for her two sons, Nicole discovered a passion for emergency management. She began volunteering for her town's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and eventually joined the Mansfield Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). During this time, Nicole also attended the National Medical and Education Training Center and became a certified EMT. 

Through these roles, Nicole has had the opportunity to study and train in a variety of emergency management topics, including Commodity Points of Distribution, Emergency Sheltering, and Firefighter Rehabilitation. As the Operations Officer for MEMA, Nicole is regularly activated to participate in a variety of emergency operations. 

Most recently, Nicole has combined her love of teaching and emergency management, and has become a certified instructor for Safe Sitter, Inc.
